Nile Cruise Tips

I've been adding a series of Nile Cruise Tips to our Nile Cruises 4u website that are taken from the Free Nile Cruise Guide we've added to the site.

Using the Wordpress system I was able to add a whole month's worth of posts that will go "live", one per day for the next few weeks.

Great system.

2 Brilliant Egypt Websites

Reflections I've just added a new post to our Nile Cruise Blog about 2 great Egyptian resource websites for anyone hoping to visit Egypt or take a Nile Cruise.

The first is Su Bayfield's "Reflections in the Nile" and the second is the "Eternal Egypt" website.  Both are full of great resources, evocative writing and are "must visits" for anyone with any interest in Egyptology or those planning to cruise the Nile.

Sharm El Sheikh Holidays

Sharm El Sheikh Holidays

Despite me promising that I would resume regular posting here on the Virtual Travel Cast it's happened again.  I've been so busy finishing off the re-design of our Sharm El Sheikh holidays website that I've missed posting here again.

However I have a plan to start to add some regular posts here about unusual and luxury travel destinations within the next week or so and to ensure that I post at least on a weekly basis.

The problem is that I am posting to our Kenya Holiday Blog and our Nile Cruise Blog too and I'm afraid that I seem to get "blogged out".  As my old school teachers used to say of me..."must try harder!"

So long!!

I cant' believe its' so long since I last posted here at the Virtual Travel Cast blog.  I do blog almost every day but since November of last year I've been blooging daily on our Nile Cruise Blog.  Plus I've been working really hard on our main travel sites, both maintaining sites and creating new ones.

We now have "niche" travel websites specialising in Nile Cruises, Cuba Holidays, Kenya Holidays, Mauritius Holidays, Sharm El Sheikh Holidays, Goa Holidays, Holidays Offers and Cape Verde Holidays.

But now that those sites are pretty well working ok and are up-to-date I'm definitely going to be blooging here again regularly.

Latest Podcasts that I've subscribed to:- Wiggly Wigglers Podcast and the More Hip Than Hippie Podcast.

Nile Cruise Podcast

Nile Cruise Podcast...

I've been a bit lax posting here for the last few weeks as I've been setting up and working on our new Nile Cruise Podcast for the Nile Cruise website.

Setting it up technically tool a bit longer than expected as I had to install Podpress, the podcasting plugin for Wordpress, configure it all, add the feed to iTunes, etc, etc and then start to create the podcasts.

To date there are 2 episodes and we have 2 more "in the can" as we broadcasters say (!!!).

We hope to publish one a week as often as possible and when I've got it all under control I'll make sure I look after this blog a lot better!!

Nile Cruise Podcast

PodcastscreenshotNile Cruise Podcast

One of our busiest websites is the Nile Cruise website, www.nile-cruises-4u.co.uk to which we added a Nile Cruise Blog about a month ago.

Well, as a development from that, we've now created the Nile Cruise Podcast.

The weekly Podcast contains Nile cruise news and developments as well as an interview with either a recent Nile cruise client, who tells about the experiences and impressions, or an individual from within the travel trade with connections to Nile cruising.

The first Nile Cruise Podcast in now available here.

Nile Cruise Blog

Nile cruise blog...

Sorry but this is a shameless link to our Nile cruise blog that is linked to our main Nile Cruises 4u website.

I am constantly working hard to achieve top 5 search engine rankings on Google for the search term Nile cruise and one way is to create inbound links to the site.  So this is one!

Obviously the site has to have good content and be a useful site for Google to return as a result, (which I genuinly think it is) but then it needs inbound links from other sites.

Sorry this post is in no way of any interest to anyone else but me but I'll keep you informed as to how the strategy works...or doesnt'!

Happy Monday Morning!

Here's a great song to listen to first thing in the morning.

By Kate Nash.  I know I'm not supposed to play this and I'll take it down if requested but I think she's wonderful and you can but this track at Amazon UK here.
